What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician - 3rd Shift position at RTP COMPANY?
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing the required testing and inspection of injection molded specimens and pellet samples for production, sample, experimental and raw material product types.
Work Schedule: 3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Monday Night - Saturday Morning
Responsibilities
- Perform required testing of RTP plastics: Typical testing includes a variety of mechanical properties along with conductivity, flame retardant, ash, moisture, flow, and contamination inspections
- Perform injection molding on test specimens, panels, and pucks
- Maintain accurate records of all testing performed
- Collaborate with QA Manager and to continually work towards the highest quality products
- Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Other duties as assigned
