Production Lead - 2nd Shift/Sheet Plant

Brief Description

The 2nd Shift Production Lead for our ESP/Sheet Facility (Engineered Sheet Products) takes direction from the Production and/or Plant Manager. The Production Lead is accountable for providing day-to-day technical direction of an assigned production team.

Sheet Division-Work Location is 4410 Theurer Blvd., Winona, MN

Work Schedule

2nd Shift - 2:45pm-11:00pm M-F. Leads are assigned to a rotating weekend schedule that may involve Saturday and/or Sunday work as needed. Training may be required on 1st shift.

Hourly Rate

$28.45/hour, including shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Production Manager, leads production staff in daily activities
• Administers training for new employees as well as long term employees on the production team
• Provides feedback to the Production Manager to assist in performance evaluations of staff
• Projects raw and finished material needs for given time periods
• Works to minimize product loss and production-related waste
• Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Assists in the maintenance of equipment by effectively communicating issues or any potential problems
• Communicates with Warehouse support groups to maintain appropriate production schedules
• Ensures plant is maintained and in accordance with housekeeping policies and guidelines
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Required previous manufacturing experience related to RTP production operations
• Preferred previous supervisor experience
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred forklift experience

• Talk and hear to coordinate and operate equipment
