The Maintenance Technician (Powered Mobile Equipment Technician) is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of all powered mobile equipment associated with RTP Company - Winona facilities. The position also backs up the Industrial Maintenance area as needed. ponents to ensure the continued safe, efficient, and effective operations of equipment used in the facility. This position is responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of forklifts and powered mobile equipment associated with RTP Company - Winona, MN. This position also backs up the Industrial Maintenance Technician and needs to be flexible in order to assist with performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and components as needed.
This position also assists with maintaining parts inventory, organizing, and maintaining the maintenance shop, as well as inspecting and diagnosing malfunctions and breakdowns and performs repairs. This position must be able to take a proactive approach to preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and lifespan.
Work Schedule:
1st Shift - Hours are 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed including potential for weekend work/overtime.

Responsibilities
- Maintains operational status of all forklifts and other powered support equipment including Boom Lifts and Scissor Lifts.
- Completes routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoots maintenance issues on standardized equipment
- Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc. by maintaining detailed records of repairs and routine maintenance in the CMMS.
- Communicates and collaborates with other departments, including production, warehouse, and quality, regarding the status of maintenance projects and needs
- Interacts with service and parts vendors to acquire and maintain parts inventories and in maintaining the organization of the maintenance shop
- Participates in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods
- Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Ensures plant is maintained and in accordance with housekeeping policies and guidelines
- Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
