RTG Fleet Maintenance is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair construction equipment throughout Dallas–Fort Worth.
If you’re currently working for a CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, construction equipment dealership, or rental company, we’d like to offer you an opportunity worth considering.

- Overtime at 1.5x ($67.50–$75/hour)

Earning potential: $104,000–$143,000 annually, depending on hourly rate and overtime hours worked.
Equipment You’ll Work On
Excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, skid steers, telehandlers, and other construction equipment.
Experience with Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, CASE, Hitachi, or Bobcat is highly valued.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of heavy construction equipment repair experience preferred
- Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Experience troubleshooting diesel engines and electronic controls
- Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
