What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Apprentice position at RTD Electric?
This is an ON THE ROAD POSITION. Working as far north as Maine and as far south as North Carolina and Tennessee and as west as Indianapolis. We work a 2 week on 1 week off schedule. All expenses are paid for including transportation, boarding and meals. Our company does the electrical work for most of the remodels happening to grocery and dollar stores in the northeast. Anything can be taught but working long weeks from home cannot. If you do not wish to work on the road away from home than this is not the job for you. Join our small but growing team and work up the ladder to have the potential of making a good living. The starting pay is temporary as hard work and gained experience will cause pay increases along the way. We know working on the road is tough and we like to keep our team happy.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Must be willing to work out of state. All work is on the road.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices.
