Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and sort floor loaded containers
- Package product for movement throughout warehouse
- Read and comprehend written instructions and packing lists
- Assists QA with pallet transfers and loading and unloading storage trailers.
- Assists QA with unloading returns.
- Responsible for ensuring pallets are available for unloading
- Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
- Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitively
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. through out the course of the day
- Must have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weather
- Must speak English fluently and read basic instructions in English.
- Must have basic math and computer skills.
- Must have a sense of urgency.
- Must be a team player, able to work well with others.
- Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required
Compensation
- This is a Union Position and pays $19.00/HR
Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
