We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our logistics team. Preferred availability on Saturday and Sunday, work available on weekdays . In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring exceptional service to the customer. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle, contributing to the success of our operations while maintaining independence in your work.
Duties
- Operate your van to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured and protected during transport.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury
Experience
- Experience in route driving is beneficial.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
