Job Description:
Our client is seeking a staff member who will report directly to the Director of Sponsor Services of the corporation in the Sponsor Services department. This individual will be responsible for supporting the account executive team, the overall department, and providing general administrative support to the corporation as a whole. This individual must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, solid communication skills (both oral and written), and be self-motivated, well-organized, and work well both independently and with others in teams. The training for this position will be on the job and provided by the Director and other staff who perform similar duties. This is essential due to the uniqueness of the corporation and its procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of practical related work experience.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare correspondence transmitted to corporate and college scholarship program sponsors
Monitor and proof scholarship candidate information sent to sponsors
Assist in ongoing maintenance of sponsor information and program specifications
Answer telephone calls regarding program procedures and requirements from parents, students, high school officials, sponsor contacts, etc.
Prepare and process various mailings
Backup for the Receptionist as needed
Extensive use of a customized database in addition to standard PC applications
Recommend and help implement procedural improvements/efficiencies
General administrative duties; including filing, data input, word processing, proofing documents, etc.
Willing to learn all aspects of administering and servicing corporate and college sponsor scholarship program accounts
Various other duties as assigned by the corporate management team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
Experience in an academic or business setting is desired – This is a growth-oriented position that will offer excellent long-term challenges and stability
Must be very detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated – The ideal candidate is a strong team player who has the ability to work independently, and with limited supervision
Thorough knowledge and extensive experience working with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat is required

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $38,000 to $46,000, commensurate with experience. The potential for salary growth is based on job performance, expansion of role and responsibilities, and overall productivity.
