As a Custodian, you will deliver measurable results in providing students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, healthy, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.
Reports to: Building Principal and Facilities Manager
Qualifications: Love what you do, and the opportunity this position brings to serving the students here at RSU 21. We are seeking a candidate with a high school diploma, working knowledge of custodial duties, services, and equipment. Must have the ability to reach, lift (up to 50 lbs.), basic math, writing, eye-hand coordination, sitting, stooping, and ability to talk, hear, see, speak and communicate effectively. Applicants must be able read and understand policies and procedures and related information and to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions. Ability to perform all necessary upper and lower body movement. Demonstrate competency and experience in all areas of these services. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Facilities Manager may find appropriate and acceptable.
