What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ed. Tech I for Special Education position at RSU 53/MSAD 53?
MSAD #53 is looking for a Special Education Tech I who is caring, compassionate and patient to join the special education team at one of our 3 schools (TBD) to work with our special education students. Students in this program have a wide variety of academic, functional and behavioral needs. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with the special education teachers to manage student behaviors and behavior plans as well as support students academically in the regular and special education setting in both small groups and one to one to meet students' unique needs.Candidates must have an Ed. Tech I authorization or be eligible to apply for authorization through the Maine Department of Education, and must be fingerprinted through the Maine Department of Education.
