Special Education Ed Tech II or III
Full time, 2026-27 School Year
Located a ½ mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, Loranger Memorial School is a grades 3-8 school, seeking candidates for an Educational Technician II or III position to support students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. The successful candidates should possess the following:
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Maine DOE Educational Technician II or III Authorization certification
- Valid Maine DOE Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Interest in supporting students with various learning styles and needs
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of technology
- Willingness to participate in ongoing in-service training
- Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom
The Educational Technician position is a district wide position. Initial placement for this opening is at Loranger Memorial School.
PAY RATE:
- Educational Technician II: $18.31 - $24.72
- Educational Technician III: $20.39 - $26.79
- Starting placement within the Collective Bargaining Agreement step scale is determined by prior credited experience.
