Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including prenatal, gynecological, breast, abdominal, vascular, and echocardiography scans.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Accurately capture and analyze ultrasound images using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and other electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret findings related to women's health diagnostics, gynecology diagnostics, vascular technology diagnostics, and physiology assessments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient interactions in compliance with medical terminology standards and facility protocols.
- Ensure the operation of all medical imaging equipment adheres to safety standards and best practices for medical equipment operation.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment following aseptic techniques to prevent infection control issues.

Experience
- Proven experience in sonography or diagnostic radiology with a focus on women's health or reproductive patient care.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to obstetrics, gynecology, vascular structures, and cardiac anatomy for echocardiography.
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in gynecology diagnostics, prenatal ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound imaging.
- Hands-on experience operating ultrasound machines and other medical imaging devices efficiently and accurately.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for documentation and image management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures to patients and collaborate with healthcare providers.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of physiology principles relevant to obstetric, gynecological, cardiovascular, and vascular diagnostics.
