Production Worker (Extrusion)
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Location: Bellevue, OH
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day & Night available)
Shift Pattern: 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Requirement: Steel-toe boots
Overview
We are hiring Production Workers with extrusion experience for a chemical manufacturing facility in Bellevue, OH. This facility produces plastic and adhesive-based products used in various industrial applications.
This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with machinery, following processes, and maintaining consistent production standards.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor extrusion equipment following established process guidelines
- Stage and prepare raw materials for production
- Monitor line performance including speeds, temperatures, and pressures
- Perform product checks to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with machine start-ups, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting
- Package and label finished products according to instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of extrusion experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating and troubleshooting extrusion equipment
- Ability to read work orders and follow production processes
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing and walking for 12-hour shifts
- Exposure to heat, dust, odors, and industrial noise
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the facility
- Lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
