Diesel Truck & Trailer Technician (Mobile Service) – Chambersburg, PA
Take Home Service Truck | Monday–Friday Days | $30-$35/hr.

Position Overview
As a Mobile Diesel Truck & Trailer Technician, you will travel throughout the Chambersburg, PA area servicing customer fleets and vendors. This is a field-based position requiring strong diagnostic abilities, diesel repair experience, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks and trailers while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform PM services and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Troubleshoot ABS, lighting, suspension, brakes, tires, and trailer systems
- Perform diagnostics using:
- Cummins INSITE
- Detroit Diesel DiagnosticLink software
- Inspect equipment and identify repair needs
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Maintain safe operation of company-issued mobile service truck
- Build positive relationships with customers and vendors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on diesel trucks and/or trailers
- Diesel engine diagnostic experience required
- Experience with Cummins INSITE and Detroit software preferred
- PM and troubleshooting/diagnostic experience required
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Must be dependable, safety-minded, and customer-focused
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
