Responsibilities
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare, review, and send customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
- Customer Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and statements, assisting with resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Payment & Deposit Processing: Record, apply, and deposit incoming customer payments; ensure correct allocation within accounting systems.
- General Ledger Account Maintenance: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate posting and coding of financial transactions.
- Month-End Close Procedures: Assist with month-end activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support.
- Recordkeeping & Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Ad Hoc Accounting Support: Assist with special projects, reporting, and other duties as assigned to support the finance team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting, billing, or administrative finance roles preferred.
- Must have experience with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Desktop.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
