At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $141,900 - $286,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the data analytics process through all phases of the engagement lifecycle
- Gather data, understand client issues, and formulate pragmatic data solutions
- Perform and conduct data analysis to support business processes and financial reporting
- Prepares detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements
- Understand operational metrics (e.g. cost and risk profiles associated with products, customer, and vendor portfolios)
- Maximize revenue and growth opportunities; devise go-to-market strategy through advanced analytics
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of work in analytics; experience supporting a deal team is preferred
- Degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or other BI/ETL tools
