RSL Logistics is a regional freight and courier carrier near CLT Airport, serving lanes across VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, and TN. We’re looking for a Freight (Air Freight) Coordinator to keep daily operations and customer communication running smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate daily route assignments
- Verify airline arrivals for air freight shipments
- Confirm rate confirmations and schedule delivery appointments with consignees
- Send proof of delivery to customers and follow up after delivery
- Quote shipments using our established rates and follow up to convert quotes to bookings
- Be a primary contact for customer questions and service issues
- Keep accurate files and documentation, and help keep the warehouse organized
- Be available for occasional weekend and after-hours coverage as operations require
What we’re looking for
- Experience in freight, logistics, dispatch, or customer service (Freight Forwarder or working with Air Freight experience highly preferred)
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Comfort working in a TMS and with some manual processes
- Flexibility with hours as operations require
