What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Print & Laser Fabrication Operator position at RSI - ORLANDO?
ABOUT THE ROLE
We make products that end up in the hands of guests at some of the most iconic theme parks and attractions in the world — and we make them right here in Orlando. Our production team handles everything from digital file prep to physical fabrication using professional-grade UV printers, laser cutters, and CNC equipment.
We're looking for someone who knows the Adobe Creative Suite, takes pride in running a tight operation, and wants to learn how digital artwork is turned into a finished, shelf-ready product. If you haven't operated an industrial printer or laser cutter before — that's fine. We'll train you on every piece of equipment. What we can't train is the precision mindset and drive to do things right, every run.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and preflight digital artwork files for UV printing and laser cutting production
- Set up, operate, and monitor large-format UV printers and laser cutting equipment (full training provided)
- Inspect output for quality and accuracy before staging for final review
- Assemble and finish products — gluing, ticketing, packaging — with precision
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized production floor
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative production team
- Meet production deadlines while minimizing waste and maintaining quality standards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
- Sharp eye for quality and consistency
- Comfortable with hands-on, process-driven production work
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and team-first mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
A plus — not required
- Experience with laser cutting equipment
- Large-format or UV print production background
- Familiarity with CNC or other digital fabrication tools
- Background in print, signage, or merchandise production
BENEFITS (Available for FULL-TIME)
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Paid time off
- Disability insurance and employee assistance program
- Shift differential for overnight shifts
If you take pride in precision work, love seeing something you helped produce end up in a guest's hands, and want to grow with a team that builds for the biggest names in theme park entertainment, we'd love to meet you.
