Quality Control Inspector II

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Quality Control Inspector II to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure our products meet company and customer specifications by conducting inspections, identifying and resolving quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

• Inspect truck caps and components during production for quality standards
• Perform final inspections before shipment
• Verify labeling, packaging, and documentation accuracy
• Maintain inspection and test records, including non-conformance reports
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve quality issues
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Physical ability to lift and package products
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to use hand tools

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and reporting systems

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and bending
• Manual dexterity with hands; lifting and moving of parts and materials
• Visual focus on inspection results and technical documents

Working Conditions:

• Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changes
• Considerable exposure to noise levels from manufacturing equipment
• Occasional to frequent overtime may be required

Compensation:

• $20-$28/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
