At Gold's Gym, our advanced onboarding program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the fitness industry. You will benefit from over 60 years of fitness expertise, allowing you to confidently assist our members in achieving their fitness goals.
- Prepare for, complete, and successfully pass the initial Gold's Gym certification.
- Complete the onboarding program and follow provided training protocols.
- Shadow experienced trainers to learn effective training techniques.
- Assist in member engagement and conduct fitness assessments.
- Actively seek feedback to improve training skills and member interactions.
- Obtain a nationally accredited personal trainer certification within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications:
- Organized and reliable with an approachable attitude.
- Must have excellent communication skills and adaptable coaching methods to different exercise experience levels.
- Must be able to quickly determine program changes to keep members engaged regardless of experience or fitness ability.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
