Event Assistant - Entry Level

We are looking for an energetic and organized Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of community events, promotional campaigns, and nonprofit fundraising initiatives. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are interested in gaining hands-on experience in event marketing and event coordination.

No prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive paid training and ongoing mentorship to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of promotional and fundraising events.
• Support event planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
• Welcome attendees and provide excellent customer service during events.
• Represent nonprofit partners and communicate campaign information to the public.
• Distribute promotional materials and answer general questions from event attendees.
• Work closely with team members to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
• Help maintain event displays and ensure presentation standards are met.
• Track event participation and provide feedback following each event.
• Perform additional administrative and event support duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, or sales is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
