We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part Time Licensed Plumber to join our team in New Jersey. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties following local building codes and plumbing regulations.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise pipe installations and system layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including leak detection, pipe replacement, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all phases of work by adhering to OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols.
- Perform gas piping system installations and repairs with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Assist with remodeling projects, construction site setup, heavy lifting, carpentry tasks related to plumbing fixtures or piping supports, and general handyman duties as needed.
Experience
- Valid New Jersey State Plumbing License with active certification required.
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including residential and commercial projects.
- Familiarity with plumbing building codes, local regulations, and industry standards for building code compliance.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC & Power Generator systems and experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction sites and plumbing work environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members.
