4-8 Year Structural Engineer
Our Boston office is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to develop designs for a wide range of building projects. Our portfolio of completed projects includes building sector work in Higher Education, K-12 Schools, Public and Civic, Museums and Performing Arts, Residential, and Commercial and Mixed Use.
We work on new and existing structures that provide everything from research and academic facilities to affordable housing. We are a team focused firm with opportunities for collaboration and mentorship. We encourage all of our engineering staff to become licensed engineers, supporting continuing education, professional society memberships, and experience with all aspects of project development from initial design to construction administration.
Team members perform the following types of tasks:
- Preliminary analysis of structure systems
- Detailed analytical modeling
- BIM modeling (REVIT)
- Coordination with architects
- Report writing
- Construction Administration including site visits, review of submittals, problem solving for unexpected conditions
Qualifications:
- BS and MS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 4 to 8 years of structural engineering work experience
- PE preferred
- Experience with steel, concrete, and timber design
- Experience with REVIT and AUTOCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Highly motivated
- Field experience a plus
- Authorized to work in the United States
