Join a 267-bed acute care hospital serving the Fort Walton Beach and Destin communities. This facility is a designated Level II Trauma Center and includes an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center, and a wide range of specialty services including cardiovascular and surgical care.

About the Role
As a Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering, with a focus on neuro and med-surg populations. You will assess patient conditions, manage treatment plans, and advocate for patient safety while working closely with an interdisciplinary care team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor, evaluate, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and recovery plans
- Advocate for patient safety and quality of care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure efficient use of time, equipment, and clinical resources
What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ASN required (BSN preferred)
- BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment

- Full-time hospital-based role
- Collaborative Med Surg Neuro unit (approx. 30 beds)
