Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Biller to support billing and reimbursement operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end billing processes, with a strong focus on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay, ensuring accurate claims submission, timely follow‑up, and maximized reimbursement.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven, and experienced in skilled nursing billing at a corporate or multi‑facility level.
Duties
- Prepare, submit, and manage Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay claims for multiple skilled nursing facilities
- Monitor accounts receivable, aging reports, and reimbursement trends across facilities
- Follow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims and complete necessary corrections
- Maintain compliance with CMS, State Medicaid, and payer-specific regulations
- Coordinate closely with Business Office Managers (BOMs), Admissions, and Clinical teams
- Review census, payor changes, and benefit eligibility for billing accuracy
- Maintain comprehensive records of billing activities, adjustments, and correspondence related to medical collections.
- Stay updated on industry changes regarding medical terminology, coding updates (ICD-9/ICD-10), and payer policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of skilled nursing or long‑term care billing experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicaid (Indiana), Managed Care, and Private Pay
- Experience supporting multiple facilities or corporate billing preferred
- Proficiency with SNF billing software (PointClickCare/ Waystar)
- Strong understanding of claims processes, remittances, and EOBs
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict billing deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
