What You’ll Do: As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will support the Quality Engineering team in ensuring that our products meet rigorous standards of performance and compliance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in quality assurance, testing, and process improvement, contributing directly to initiatives that maintain and enhance product reliability. In this role, you will assist with inspections, data collection, and analysis to identify trends, deviations, or opportunities for improvement. You will support root cause investigations, document findings, and help implement corrective actions to address quality issues. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement projects, helping to streamline processes, update standard operating procedures, and apply quality engineering principles in real-world manufacturing settings. Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, and Supply Chain. Your contributions will have a direct impact on product excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Need: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field Basic understanding of quality standards, testing procedures, and process improvement methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Entering Sophomore year or higher Compensation: $22–$27 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background Work Hours/Length of Program: The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business This is a paid internship Working Conditions and Physical Demands: This position is based in our manufacturing and laboratory environments and involves exposure to production processes. Employees are required to follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when onsite.
