We are seeking a skilled and reliable team member to assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts into sub-assemblies or complete products. This role involves routine and repetitive assembly operations using a variety of tools and machinery.Essential Duties:
- Assemble mechanical components into sub-assemblies or final products
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and various equipment, including jigs, dies, fixtures, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses
- Perform tasks such as cutting, filing, punching, reaming, riveting, forming, and fitting parts
- Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product specifications and tolerances
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret basic blueprints
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area
- Identify and correct minor machine malfunctions
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing tools and processes
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
