Lead Field Service Technician – Commercial Restaurant Equipment

RSC is hiring an experienced Lead Field Service Technician to help lead our growing commercial service operation across the Oklahoma City market.

We are an approved service partner for major restaurant brands and provide commercial hot-side equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility repair services.

This is not simply another technician position. We are looking for an experienced working lead who can diagnose difficult problems, lead technicians in the field, help coordinate daily service operations, develop the team, and set the standard for quality and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines technical ability with leadership ability.

Required:

• 5 years of commercial restaurant equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, or related field service experience
• Strong experience servicing commercial hot and cold equipment
• EPA Certification
• Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing technicians
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple service calls and technicians
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Professional customer communication
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as required

Preferred:

• CFESA certification
• HVAC certification or license
• Electrical Apprentice license
• Plumbing Apprentice license
• Manufacturer-specific commercial equipment certifications
• Previous experience as a Lead Technician, Senior Technician, Service Manager, or Field Supervisor
• Experience with service scheduling, dispatching, or field-service management software

You understand that being a lead technician isn't about sitting behind a desk. You're willing to work alongside the team, take ownership of difficult calls, help organize the workload, and step in when the team needs direction.
