Role and Responsibilities
Our steward staff is responsible for maintaining high quality clean and sanitized work environment. Our team will participate in daily sanitation of work areas and will be responsible for the cleaning of all production and service ware.
Basic responsibilities
- Clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, silverware and kitchen items including storage racks, floors, walls, dish area
- Maintain pm levels for sanitizer on dish machine and pot sinks are at specific requirements for health standards.
- Ensure that all storage area, mop room, dish closets, garbage cans, glassware storage area, bake ware storage and any other storage areas for kitchen wares storage clean and orderly.
- Set up, break down, clean dish machine
- Maintain organization of all storage areas
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Preferred:
- 6 months experience in a fast paced environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry items up to 50lbs
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
