Position Title:

Ultrasound Systems Repair Manager

Reports To:

VP/GM, Ultrasound

Location:

Woodinville, WA (Open to Remote)

Job Requirements:

 Preferred candidates will have prior experience in repairing Ultrasound Systems.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is current on all major systems manufacturers and best practices
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ultrasound parts repair technician team, including scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation
  • Mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews for technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and technical excellence
  • Ensure the team adheres to all company policies, safety standards, and quality control procedures
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new repair technicians

 Technical & Operational Oversight:

  • Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex or persistent ultrasound system failure questions (not related to probes)
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the architecture, functionality, and common failure modes of GE, Mindray, and Philips ultrasound systems
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the repair team, such as mean time to repair (MTTR) and first-time fix rates
  • Drive continuous improvement in repair processes to maximize efficiency and service quality

 Customer & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a primary liaison between the technical team and other internal teams regarding repair status, preventative maintenance planning, and technical recommendations
  • Ensure timely and professional communication regarding service interruptions and expected resolution times

 Environment and Physical Requirements:

  •  Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Ability to observe details visually
  • Willingness to work in multiple training areas including warehouse, classroom, or hospital setting
  • Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required

Salary : $90,000 - $175,000
