Ultrasound Systems Repair Manager

Job Requirements:
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in repairing Ultrasound Systems.
Team Leadership & Management:
Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is current on all major systems manufacturers and best practices
Manage the day-to-day operations of the ultrasound parts repair technician team, including scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation
Mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews for technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and technical excellence
Ensure the team adheres to all company policies, safety standards, and quality control procedures
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new repair technicians
Technical & Operational Oversight:
Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex or persistent ultrasound system failure questions (not related to probes)
Maintain expert-level knowledge of the architecture, functionality, and common failure modes of GE, Mindray, and Philips ultrasound systems
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the repair team, such as mean time to repair (MTTR) and first-time fix rates
Drive continuous improvement in repair processes to maximize efficiency and service quality
Customer & Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a primary liaison between the technical team and other internal teams regarding repair status, preventative maintenance planning, and technical recommendations
Ensure timely and professional communication regarding service interruptions and expected resolution times
Environment and Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 pounds
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Must be able to exchange accurate information
Ability to observe details visually
Willingness to work in multiple training areas including warehouse, classroom, or hospital setting
Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required
