Functional Description

The Electronics Assembler is responsible for disassembly, reassembly, and replacing electronic components of electronics. Work performed is to be completed through documented repair methods and in compliance with ISO standards. The adherence to these requirements is not only for the Company’s commitment to quality, but also for the high level of patient safety that our customers expect from us.

Scope of Outcomes

The core responsibilities for this position include:

• Utilize documented procedures to repair electronics
• Perform competently and consistently electronic repairs
• Demonstrate and maintain competent soldering skills
• Meet or exceed expectations established for repair times
• Support the team with creations or improvements in processes and capabilities
• Communicate difficulties to lead or manager
• Complete training required for job duties and demonstrate competency through testing and performance evaluations
• Perform testing of electronics to ensure proper operation after repairs 
• Actively participate in process or documentation improvements
• Complete quality control checks on repaired and returned electronics

Qualifications

Required qualifications include: 

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Experience using small/precision hand-held tools
• High degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity
