Job duties:
- Broad general knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection systems required.
- Manage MEP design and construction for a variety of projects from conception to completion.
- Lead projects with overarching Architectural Engineering sensibility.
- Manage Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, IT, and Fire Protection Engineering Design-Build subcontractors, lead Design and administer Construction phase.
- Coordinate between in-house Preconstruction and Construction Teams, Owners, authorities having Jurisdiction, subcontractors and trades, and other third-party consultants.
- Collaborate with in-house and third-party Architects and Structural Engineers on defining building design and MEP requirements. Collaborate with Civil Engineers on site utilities and infrastructure.
- Lead building systems decision making process with clients through meetings and correspondence.
- Produce Request for Proposal narratives to subcontractors, conveying comprehensive scope and design requirements.
- Coordinate estimating and bidding of MEP systems with Estimators.
- Collaborate on building permit applications and oversee building utilities applications.
- Manage Construction Administration process.
- Interest in sustainable building technologies.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing licensure – desired but not required.
