SAP Group Reporting Consultant (AFO Advanced Excel)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Consultant with strong expertise in Advanced Financial Closing (AFO) and Advanced Excel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing financial consolidation and reporting processes using SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support SAP Group Reporting solutions for financial consolidation and close processes
- Configure and manage consolidation tasks such as data collection, eliminations, currency translation, and reporting
- Work with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Utilize SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFO) for automation of financial close processes
- Develop and maintain financial reports using SAP Analytics tools and Advanced Excel
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of reporting issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP FI/CO, BW, and technical teams
- Optimize existing reporting processes and improve system performance
- Provide end-user training and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong focus on SAP Group Reporting
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting
- Strong experience in Advanced Financial Closing (AFO)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros/VBA preferred)
- Good understanding of financial consolidation processes (IFRS/GAAP)
- Experience with data modeling and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW/4HANA
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, BPC)
- Prior experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects
- Certification in SAP Finance or Group Reporting
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Nice to Have:
- Experience in automation of financial close processes
- Exposure to multinational financial reporting environments
