Expeditor

About The Role

The Expeditor is responsible for facilitating and expediting the flow of materials across departments to support operational efficiency. This role works closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of goods, resolves delivery issues, and maintains purchase order tracking systems.

COMPENSATION: $19 - $21 per hour

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Expedite assigned purchase orders to ensure requirements related to documentation, inspections, and delivery timelines are met
• Coordinate with suppliers, site managers, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure smooth material flow
• Review purchase orders for accuracy, terms, and conditions
• Track and resolve delivery discrepancies, delays, or issues and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate purchase order records in system(s) such as Sync
• Cre ate material requests and send quote requests to suppliers
• Review inspection reports and escalate any potential concerns
• Monitor inventory levels and support adherence to site-specific min/max requirements
• Assist with inventory tracking and performance metrics (e.g., turnover rates, KPIs)
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through vendor sourcing and process efficiencies
• Support team training and safety compliance as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of purchasing, expediting, or supply chain experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
