The Opportunity
RS&H is currently seeking an Applications Developer to join our team in the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL.
As part of the Technology and Innovation team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by designing, maintaining, developing in, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform; maintaining and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases; designing and developing applications using multiple software development and data management tools and techniques (e.g., .Net, Java, Python, SQL, Access, SSIS, HTML5, XML, SharePoint); developing and maintaining code and processes for exchanging data, leveraging application programming interface (API), and extract, transform, and load (ETL) strategies; and supporting and maintain existing custom applications.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and five years application development and design and web services and site design, including SQL programming experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have demonstrated knowledge working with SQL server integration services, reporting services, and analysis services. Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Be proficient in scripting and ETL process automation.
- Possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently within the guidelines and business requirements provided.
- Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
