ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update supplier records and databases.
- Track and report on procurement status, including order progress, delivery timelines, and potential delays
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet demand.
- Support the procurement manager in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing procurement processes.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to forecast procurement needs
- Assist with vendor onboarding
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives within procurement and administrative processes
- Assist in coordinating travel arrangements and accommodation for team members.
- Maintain office supplies and manage the office environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Understanding of supply chain, logistics, or procurement processes
- Experience with IT and networking equipment procurement is preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with contract terms, purchase agreements, or vendor negotiations is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with document management systems or shared platform is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
