ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to SME of Remote Sensing and Geospatial Department, aligning efforts with organizational goals and emerging industry trends.
- Leads technical innovation in geospatial data acquisition, processing, and visualization, data accuracy assessment, accessibility, and compliance with standards and ethical practices.
- Collaborate across departments to provide technical guidance on the use of RSGS data in survey and engineering applications
- Design and implement geospatial solutions that support engineering and infrastructure projects
- Manage multiple complex projects or large-scale initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management and other SMEs to achieve company goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Geography, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field (preferred).
- ASPRS Certified Mapping Technologist - - Lidar or Certified Photogrammetric Technologist, with 2-3 years of Esri ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD experience.
- 5 years of general geospatial experience, with 3 years of experience working in with aerial survey data (imagery and lidar) either in data processing or as a user of aerial survey data in CAD environment.
- Experience managing geospatial or remote sensing teams and leading projects.
- Experience working with civil engineering projects and integrating geospatial data into engineering workflows.
- Experience in lidar data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Experience with drone/UAV-based data acquisition and integration.
- Proficiency with photogrammetric data processing and mapping and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, Global Mapper, Summit Evolution, GeoCue LP360, Pix4D).
