Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Guidewire Technical Lead. The Technical Lead will oversee the design, development, and deployment of Guidewire solutions tailored to client needs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, developing system enhancements, troubleshooting technical challenges, leading a development team, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
- Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and integration frameworks for customizations and integrations
- Experience in software architecture, system design, and configuration of Guidewire applications
- Skills in Agile methodologies, project coordination, and team leadership
- Familiarity with cloud solutions, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in the insurance domain or implementing insurance solutions is a plus
