Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant based in Westmont, IL. The Staff Accountant will perform accounting duties using AI powered tools, QuickBooks and Excel. Prepare financial reports, maintaining financial records, and assist the principal CPA. The role includes ensuring the accuracy of reporting, processing journal entries, and tax preparation. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, and reconciling accounts
- Experience with tax preparation
- Strong skills in financial statements, data management, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience
- CPA candidate is a plus
- 2 years in an accounting role preferred
