We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Construction Estimator & Selections Coordinator to bridge the gap between pre-construction planning and client design decisions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate job costing, seamless client selections, and profitable project execution.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and cost breakdowns
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop scopes of work and pricing standards
- Maintain and update cost databases and templates
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Support project managers with budget tracking and change orders
- Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations
- Guide clients through all design selections (finishes, fixtures, materials)
- Prepare and present selection packages within budget allowances
- Track and document all client selections and approvals
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors on selections
- Manage selection upgrades and associated cost adjustments
- Ensure seamless handoff from estimating to production
- Collaborate with project managers and site superintendents
- Monitor budget vs. actual costs and flag variances early
- Assist with change orders and pricing revisions
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years in construction estimating, project coordination or selections
- Strong knowledge of residential or light commercial construction
- Experience with estimating software (BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, Procore,
Excel, etc)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong client communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Design sense or experience with finishes/materials is a strong asset
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
