Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has built a strong reputation as a key contributor to Southern California's commercial and government Design-Build construction industry. Based in Carlsbad, California, we operate as a full-service Design-Build firm, delivering projects across the United States through dedicated field teams assigned to each jobsite.
Our core strength lies in executing accelerated, ground-up commercial construction projects for both public and private sector clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense work.
We are currently seeking experienced Construction Project Managers (PMs) to join our West Coast Field Operations team, supporting military construction projects based in Monterey, California. In this role, Project Managers take full ownership of projects, guiding them through every phase-from initial concept and design development to final delivery, while upholding RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $130,000-$160,000 annually, depending on experience
- Benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with company match
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; a combination of relevant experience and field training may be considered
- Minimum of two years of experience in commercial construction project management (or equivalent)
- At least six years of progressive experience in the construction industry in roles such as Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager, or similar positions
- Experience working within a Design-Build environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general internet use is required
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit is preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications are required (training available if needed); STS certification is a plus
- LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP/AP ) credentials are preferred
