QUALIFICATIONS: Have knowledge and experience with the craft area to which you are
assigned
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Facilities
JOB GOAL: To assist the Supervisor of Facilities in maintaining all Rapides Parish School District
buildings to insure an appropriate learning environment
TERM: Twelve (12) months
SALARY: Maintenance Department Salary Schedule MD-104
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform work as directed by supervisor
2. Be diligent in performing work in safe manner
3. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
4. Maintain written records as required and directed
5. Be responsible and use good judgment in the purchase of job materials
6. Operate any vehicles in a safe manner and follow policies as directed
7. Perform work in a professional and timely manner
8. Follow Rapides Parish School Board policies
9. Sign in and out at each school and cooperate with all building personnel
10. Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor of Facilities
