What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor Technician position at RPP Containers?
RPP Containers is looking for a General Warehouse Technician.
- Shift = 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.
Inspect and determine the most cost effective method to refurbish or tear down plastic collapsible containers, using various hand and power tools. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and do routine heavy lifting, up to 150 pounds with assistance (75 pounds alone). Individual must be detailed oriented and follow verbal and some written instructions.
Responsible for the configuration, quality and accuracy of RPP refurbished products.
Understanding of spare parts and routine product repairs
Assist with the processing of customer repairs
Wash and clean bins
Practice good housekeeping at all times
Assist other departments as needed
