New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a resource for a 3-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion.
Compensation: $26.00 per hour
2nd shift: M-F 2-10:30pm
on-call every once and a while
Looking for a facilities/HVAC tech for a 24/7 manufacturing site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Maintain general & preventative maintenance, painting, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
- Will be securing/anchoring things and furniture to the floor.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage their time.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years manufacturing facility maintenance experience required
- 2 year of HVAC experience
- Basic manual labor knowledge
- Building Maintenance experience (painting, Plumbing, electrical. Carpentry
- Communication Skills
- Word and Excel knowledge (very important)
