Lawn/Landscape Maintenance Technician

You will be performing Landscape maintenance duties such as pruning trees/shrubs, planting flowers, mowing lawns, as well as portering services and picking up debris. Must be able to work outside and handle the elements.

RPM Facility Services is a commercial facility maintenance company looking for a responsible, self-motivated Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This position is for someone who takes pride in their work, can work outdoors in all weather conditions, and understands the importance of showing up, working hard, and being part of a reliable crew.

As a Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain commercial properties by performing mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, cleanup, debris removal, portering, and general exterior maintenance duties. You will report to the Landscape Supervisor and work with the team to keep client properties clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance duties
Mow, trim, edge, and blow commercial properties
Prune trees, shrubs, and landscape beds
Plant flowers, shrubs, and other landscape materials
Pick up trash, debris, and perform portering services
Operate hand tools, power tools, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape equipment
Assist with irrigation, groundskeeping, and general property maintenance
Help maintain and troubleshoot equipment when needed
Work outdoors in different weather conditions
Follow directions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently
Work independently and as part of a crew

Qualifications:
Experience in lawn care, landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred
Ability to operate landscape equipment and hand tools
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of irrigation, tree care, gardening, or groundskeeping is helpful
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work
Must be able to lift, bend, stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
Must be able to work as part of a team
Must take pride in keeping properties clean and professional
