Duties include:
- Communicate effectively with installation crews to ensure full understanding of and adherence with the scope of the project.
- Monitor installation process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with client during the installation process.
- Communicate daily with production and office staff.
- Visit projects ahead of installation to pre-measure skylights or other roof features.
- Order materials for projects, ensuring correct quantities and colors.
- Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver to the job site (as needed). Return extra material to suppliers.
- Keep the work vehicle well stocked, organized, and clean.
- Use computer to update calendars, order materials, generate receipts/invoices, and communicate with coworkers.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently.
- Monitor job site conduct of installation crew.
- Perform continuous quality control/quality assurance checks on all projects.
- Take before, during, & after pictures of all projects, and upload to project folders.
- Oversee thorough cleanup of job sites.
- Collect final payments from customers when project completed and deliver to office timely.
- Other related duties as delegated by the Production Managers.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to utilize various software programs and applications such as Dropbox, Google Calendar, Pages, Numbers, & proprietary company software
- Detail oriented
- Ability to take clear, well framed photos with a cellphone
- Firm grasp of basic commercial construction techniques and practices especially pertaining to roofing, skylights, flashing, and attic ventilation
- Ability to use ladders safely
- Ability to safely operate a large box truck
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time as needed
