Cybersecurity Engineer III
Location: Dam Neck, VA
Position Summary:
RPI Group, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III to support our Navy customer in Dam Neck, VA. The selected candidate will play a key role in the implementation, assessment, and sustainment of cybersecurity controls and configurations in accordance with DoD standards and program requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ten (10) years of full-time professional cybersecurity experience performing system hardening with demonstrated experience in all of the following areas:
- Computer security, military system specifications, security management policy guidance and directives, and DoD and cybersecurity policies
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) and implementation of cybersecurity and IA boundary defense techniques, including the use of IA-enabled appliances and applications such as Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Switches/Routers, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Endpoint Security Solution (ESS)
- Performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
- Conducting vulnerability assessments using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool
- Remediating vulnerability findings, including applying vendor patches on both Linux and Windows operating systems
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
Minimum IAT Level III certification
- Active Secret security clearance required
