Staff Pharmacist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume, patient-focused pharmacy setting that combines pharmacy expertise with cutting-edge technology to improve medication access and outcomes.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Rotating shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
What You'll Do
- Support pharmacy operations and provide oversight of pharmacy technicians during daily workflow activities
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, dosing, and compliance requirements
- Perform final pharmacist verification prior to dispensing medications
- Assist with prescription transfers, processing, and coordination with retail and specialty pharmacies nationwide
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues and prevent delays in patient care
- Provide patient counseling and medication education by phone, including discussions regarding adherence, side effects, and proper medication use
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations
- Partner with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence and positive patient outcomes
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient information
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
- 0-3 years of pharmacist experience
- Experience in mail-order, specialty, fulfillment, or closed-door pharmacy settings is preferred
- Additional pharmacist licenses in multiple states are highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
