This opportunity calls for a skilled Staff Pharmacist with expertise in retail pharmacy to support a dynamic pharmacy setting in Waunakee, WI. The role offers a 13-week contract with the potential for extensions, providing a balance of stability and flexibility within a vibrant retail environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling.
- Utilize Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescriptions and pharmacy records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Manage inventory and assist in maintaining a safe, organized pharmacy environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy License is mandatory.
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy settings is required.
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy software preferred.
