We are seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established retail pharmacy in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a weekday, first-shift position offering a great team environment and the opportunity for long-term employment.
Term of Assignment: 13-week Contract-to-Hire
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- First Shift
Job Duties:
- Perform prescription data entry accurately and efficiently
- Fill and dispense medications as prescribed by providers
- Verify patient allergies prior to filling prescriptions
- Contact patients and physician offices regarding prescriptions and refill requests
- Respond to patient questions, concerns, and inquiries in accordance with company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment
Team/Culture:
- Pharmacy management system: PioneerRx
- Work alongside 1 Pharmacist and 3 Pharmacy Technicians
- Prescription volume of fewer than 100 prescriptions per day
- Collaborative, patient-focused team environment
Compensation:
- $20–$22/hour, based on experience
